The Great Mender

The Great Mender is an ancient Chinese herbal formula for trauma. It speeds the recovery of injury, accidents, surgery, and other physical trauma. It stimulates the healing of soft tissue, tendons, ligaments, and bones. It reduces swelling and inflammation and decreases pain. Ingredients (Pin Yin): Xu duan, Tian san qi, Chi shao, Ru xiang, Mo yao, Hong hua, Xue jie, San leng, Bai shao, Su mu, Gan cao, Dang gui, Tu bie chong, Mu dan pi, Tian gua zi, Tao ren, Fang feng, Mu tong, Gu sui bu, Zhi shi, Liu ji nu, Jie geng, Yan hu suo, Jiang huang.

Ingredients (Botanical): Dipsacus asperoides root, Panax notoginseng root, Paeonia lactiflora root, Boswellia carterii resin, Commiphora myrrha resin, Carthamus tinctorius flower, Daemonorops draco resin, Sparganium stoloniferum rhizome, Paeonia lactiflora root, Caesalpinia sappan wood, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root, Angelica sinensis root, Eupolyphaga sinensis, Paeonia suffruticosa root-bark, Cucumis melo seed, Prunus persica seed, Saposhnikovia divaricata root, Akebia trifoliata stem, Drynaria fortunei rhizome, Citrus aurantium fruit-immature, Artemisia anomala herb, Platycodon grandiflorum root, Corydalis yanhusuo rhizome, Curcuma longa rhizome, Activated carbon, Botanical wax, Talcum.

Allergen Information: Contains tree nuts. May contain other allergens not listed.

Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x per day.

Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In the initial phases, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the formula takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. Monitor for signs of heat or Yin deficiency.

Cautions and Contraindications: Contraindicated during pregnancy.
